I started collecting when I was in High School, the serious collecting that is.

We all collected dolls and doll clothes if our Parents let us. Or we made them ourselves from scraps of old clothes we had out gown or some of both. But none the less we had our collection of doll clothes for our dolly. I even collected little stuffed animals, my last one was from a boyfriend in High School, It was the prize of all Teddy Bears in Pink Mohair it was 2 die 4. No I do not have it any more gone with the other collections of those times; not sad at all. I think the ones I have now are far more interesting.

 That soon grew into other areas of my life, buttons that grew out of watching my Grandmother sifting through Her stuffed button box; they looked like Jewels some even glistened in the sunlight. Oh to have a few of those I thought, the pretty one is what I wanted most. She had pink ones I wanted so much, I am sure that is why I have the ones I posted below. I am working my way to the Antique Sterling Silver Luggage Tags. I am using some of them on my Lariat creations. I always stop to think where do I think thay have traveled to ~ far off exotic lands of Love and Intrigue??? Did someone meet the Love of their life on that trip??? Well we’ll never know for sure, but it would make a fantastic story in a book. Any way you can see how I am using them in my Lariats, only a few will have them. I can only stand to part with a few of my treasures. More pictures next time.

Well I said I would have something else but; It's Lupus Day to be exact It's wear Purple Day for Lupus Awareness. We have been finding out a lot of people don't know what lupus is so just so your well educated it is an autoimmune disease. You don't catch it you just have it like MS. You sure don't want it it is debilitating and painful to say the least.  We may look fine because we are not disfigured but in more ways we are, on the inside and it can attack our organs are spine and some do have the kind that erupts on the skin. But if you have patience with us we are very loving group, most anyway!

So I have the next Lariat that I will share with you, no not purple. I did put on one of the ends an Antique Luggage Tag, Sterling Silver, That is what I want to talk about next and show some of my collection that I will be using from time to time on my designs mostly the Lariats. Now for the pictures!

I hope your month has started as good as mine has. Great weather and inspiration galore, with all the Spring flowers, trees budding out and frolicking of baby animals in the backyard, it's a glories time of the year for me at least. I believe I get enough inspiration to take me through the whole year. I almost have my idea book filled; just have to fine tune them and start with the production.

I thought, many of you might not know I have 2 major stores on Etsy and one on Facebook called Payvment Mall.
I do have on the pictures, on this Blog, links to the Stores for the ones that are for sale. All you have to do is click the picture you like and  it should take you to the Store it is listed in. If you see something you like that does not have a link to a Store and would want to purchase you can leave me an email at one of the stores, if that one does not take you to a Store leave a message here I and will get back to you. I do and can make special orders on anything you see. I have made many many products special order for people and they were very happy with them, some were ecstatic. I have designed Totes and jewelry sets for individual Ladies and they can  help or oped out of the designing of their items.

Today I just want to tell you about what I have learned, through working with different vendors buying jewelry findings as they are called and chains anything metal; you have choices in this field and I have learned if you buy things cheap you are literally taking a big chance with your life and the life of the person you are buying it for. I have changed and will buy only reputable metals mostly coming from USA and/ or Europe with a few others that have been shown to be as they mark them to be like Bali and a few others. Yes they are higher in price and will cost more to buy but, You will not be wearing something with arsenic in it. Yes some have been tested and they have that in them. That is when I said never again, I don't want anyone exposed to that and lead that they say is not in the metal, and is. I found out through research what to buy and what not to buy, for my own good. I sure do not want that kind of stuff to work on with my own two hands and to sell them to other is just not in my realm of belief. So that is maybe why mine jewelry is higher priced than others, and I buy USA not just suppliers but actual manufacturing. You can be sure of what mine is made of I always state what it is and that is what I make it out of.

So we all have choices in this world and I have decided to go this way in may work. I will also be making other items in the near future and will follow the same ideals. Now I will say there are some that are true but being a small business I can not test them all and the only real way to be absolutely sure is buy American made or the few other metal works that are tested from time to time.

I just had to get this said so you have a better understanding why mine items are more than others in the business. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Terrie♥
