Good Day Everyone,
As I told you I would post some helpful hints to make your House ready to Sell. I had so much fun redoing and retouch ups for this house, now I am starting to get jobs for others.
It is knowing what needs to be retouched and knowing how is the key to success I worked in my family's Decorating Business for oh so many years as a Color and decorating Consultant. I would select colors and coordinate wall paper and stains for Houses and Churches. I grew up playing with wallpaper books and color charts. So I fell into this redecorating and consulting work very naturally.
Here are a few pictures of the house that I was instrumental in determining
what decorating needed to be finished before
listing the House for sale. I also mixed paint and stains, something that
Home Depot could not do, correctly, to match the existing ones in the house. Looking at your house as a buyer is what you have to do, to make good decisions what to fix and paint. The first agent had the house listing if we were to list it at that time 130,000 less than we listed it for after all the painting and fixing. which 18,000 was spent to fix and decorate it. Which in any ones estimation would be a great profit, for the little work done. The work was done by the owner, except the roof.
So you see if you know what to do you to could accomplice the same type of improvements and staging.
I will talk about staging Your house in a later post.
Have a great day,
Ter
